Noah Reviews: Minecraft
October 6, 2023
Minecraft was first released in 2011 and has since become one of the most popular video games. You play this game as a blocky character by the name of Steve, exploring the landscape made up of over 60+ biomes. The current updates of Minecraft have brought animals such as polar bears, bees, dolphins, pandas, and more. Even if you play for days and days on end, it will never get boring because of how much the game has to offer.
Until the new updates, diamond armor was the strongest set of armor a player could achieve. Now, the rare netherite armor has been added to the game. If you need tutorials on Minecraft, plenty of YouTubers have done videos on how to create systems that mine and do things for you, how to build houses and the secrets of the underground systems.
Plenty of mini-games have been added to the PC and console versions of Minecraft. You can play these with many people, and with countless maps and modes, the fun never ceases. Whether you’re smacking somebody with a sword or pickaxe or parkouring to all edges of a map, the possibilities are endless.
More than impressive is the recognition that Minecraft has, not even across our country, but around the world. Minecraft is the one game where no matter who you are or where you’re from, you will always find somebody else who has either played or heard of Minecraft. Now almost ten years after Minecraft’s release, kids who are now in their final years of high school will remember the late nights and early mornings of just playing the game. There is nothing like creating everything that your heart desires with all of your best friends.
