Girls Lacrosse run down

The girls lacrosse team is a good team made up with a few girls from our school. The sport could be described as a lot like soccer with all of the running and the teamwork going into it. Through it, the girls get to know each other and become a stronger team as well as good friends.

“I would say my favorite part is the people that I was able to become friends with and grow as a team to play with.” Senior, Maieva Nwanyama said.

The team enjoys the feeling of winning but, they take the loss as a learning opportunity to get stronger as well.

“I like the thrill of playing in a game and the feeling of joy when you win along with the team.” Senior, Kolbe  Poos said

They all try hard to win as a team. The girls all have roles that they play. Using what they are best at and how much skill and confidence they have in their position helps the team out. To make their confident plays natural and flawless.

“I play low defense. I decided to go with this position because over the past two years, I have become a skilled low defender and it’s what I enjoy to play.” Senior, Olivia Sanders said.

With a new season starting up and long time players becoming seniors will soon leave, but will have confidence leaving their team. Hearing talk about the lacrosse team is nothing compared to their games.

“I have been hearing more about the lacrosse team around the school and so I decided to go ahead and try it out.” Sanders said.
