When Thanksgiving is over, one of the most debated topics are Christmas decorations. Everyone has their own tradition and specific ornament that always needs to be on the Christmas tree, and each one has a different meaning and importance.
Often there are discussions about the right period to put up Christmas decorations.
“I feel like way too early would be in October, because give Halloween some time, it’s her time to shine, and then November, Thanksgiving. I mean, no one really cares about Thanksgiving, but I guess around November. But typically it would be best to do it in December,” Iqbal said.
Putting up Christmas decorations is a magical moment that creates a lot of important memories.
“Childhood memories, because they’re just so sweet, and I miss that, having the whole family together,” Wagner said.
Christmas decorations are often related to pets, which always give funny stories to tell.
“One time we were putting the tree up, and my dog ran under the tree, and my whole tree fell,” Huber said.
“So I have a cat. She’s orange. Her name is Millie. While I was putting up my Christmas tree, my Christmas tree wasn’t that tall like a three foot Christmas tree and my cat, she climbed on top of it and it all fell over. She also chewed on one of the lights on the tree,” Iqbal said.
