Podcasting is a relatively delicate art. People have to learn how to address their audience in a positive way, and they have to keep people’s attention. Supermega is a YouTube channel with over 800,000 subscribers. It’s run by two guys, Matt Watson and Ryan Magee, along their team of employees.

The two of them upload several videos a week, including one audio-only podcast weekly. Every podcast has its own name based on one overall topic they discussed. However, their podcast very rarely has an actual theme. Within the show, the boys talk about whatever they want, whenever they want, with a few ads sprinkled in throughout. Each episode lasts around one hour.

Personally, the Supermega Podcast is one of my all time favorites. I am biased, as I enjoy all of the content the duo creates, however, I believe their podcast is something special. It allows them to discuss whatever they want without being in the confines of a live skit, which is something they do occasionally, or a gaming video, which is their primary content.

The overall feeling of the podcast is like sitting on a couch with your two best friends, having stupid discussions about things that don’t matter, and occasionally bringing up very important topics. Although the show is entirely based in comedy, the duo doesn’t mind jumping into very serious subjects from time to time. They’ve discussed things like racism, human trafficking, rape, and more.

Altogether, I believe the Supermega Podcast is a very well-rounded show, with discussions about anything and everything. However, it can also be very raunchy and offensive at times. If you don’t enjoy dark or sarcastic humor, as well as somewhat childish humor, you likely will not enjoy this podcast. However, if it sounds interesting to you, be sure to give it a listen!
