The show can be an absolute joy to watch, as it is often very funny. However, the entertaining aspects and the serious aspects are not very well balanced.

The H3 Podcast is truly about nothing. It can go from being about politics to poop jokes all in the same episode. The show has been going strong since April 7th, 2017, with the first episode guest-starring Justin Roiland, co-creator of the hit animated television series “Rick and Morty.” The podcast’s primary hosts are husband and wife Ethan and Hila Klein, co-creators of the YouTube channel “H3H3,” a variety show that is similar to the podcast. The overall feeling of this podcast is somewhat similar to how one would feel while watching Key and Peele or The Eric Andre Show.

The H3 Podcast has around 282 episodes, with each one featuring its own shenanigans and hijinks, but also often serious topics. The show has featured many guests, including Jacksfilms of YouTube, JonTron of YouTube, Alex Hirsch, creator of Gravity Falls, and more. The show can be an absolute joy to watch, as it is often very funny. However, the entertaining aspects and the serious aspects are not very well balanced. It feels as though the Kleins have very few plans when it comes to having guests, and will often jump from topic to topic with little to no transition. This can be a problem and leave the audience feeling like they have whiplash.

Overall, the H3 Podcast is a decent show to partake in on occasion. It is very funny at times, with the funniest moments coming from unforeseen circumstances, like another YouTuber prank calling the show. I would personally recommend people watch the show when they see someone they are interested in as the guest, but beyond that, there is not much reason to watch. It can easily leave one wanting more. I would personally leave this podcast with a mediocre rating of 6/10.
